Walking the Talk – Solar Power Project Completed

Geo-Innovation of Tucson completed and powered up a 14KW solar power system for Dean and Donna Cotlow’s home today.  Tucson Electric Power installed two “Green” meters; one for measuring how much solar power we are producing and the other is the net meter for billing purposes.  The system includes 56 240 watt solar panels producing 100% of the power required for the home and two SMA inverters (Converts DC power to AC power).  Lighting throughout the house is being changed from incandescent and fluorescent bulbs to all LED’s.  We are now seeking proposals to convert the Cotlow Company’s headquarters office building to solar power.  Cotlow Company continues to improve not only existing facilities but we test new systems for future commercial real estate developments.
