Our History
The Cotlow Company was established in Arizona in 1981. Soon, as a result of considerable (and continuous) growth, the company became part of a number of international real estate networks, including Merrill Lynch Commercial Real Estate (U.S.), L.J. Hooker (Australia) and Lambert Smith Hampton (England).
Today, The Cotlow Company is based in Tucson, Arizona and remains wholly-owned by its founder, Dean P. Cotlow. The Cotlow Company is licensed in the State of Arizona (C0102162000)
Dean P. Cotlow
Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Dean began developing his considerable and unique marketing skills at the age of 9 with the door-to-door sales of first aid kits and later working in the family tire business. Assuming leadership of the Tire King Stores while still attending the University of Arizona, Dean expanded the business and grew its market share until ultimately selling it in 1979 and entering the real estate brokerage industry. Graduating from the University of Arizona in 1980, Dean opened The Cotlow Company in 1981.
He is currently the Designated Broker of The Cotlow Company (BR011464000), licensed in the State of Arizona.
